„The Flughafen-erfahren tours offer a very special way to actively experience the airport region Berlin/Brandenburg. We inform neutrally and independently – your questions are always the focus. Our tour guides are professionals from the region and lead the tours with a lot of passion and humor.“

COOPERATIONS

Education, tourism, networks…learn more about our values and vision.

The Flughafen-erfahren tour emerged from the non-profit project Bike2BER.de. The aim is to show commuters, recreational cyclists and passengers safe cycling routes to BER. Bike2BER has been recognized by BER Airport as an official bike map and linked on the airport website. Some routes have now been signposted with small metal signs.

2023
Bike2BER supports the municipality of Schönefeld with tourist signage along the southern runway.

Flughafen-erfahren.de is part of the Dahme-Seen Tourism Association. Together with the team from Königs Wusterhausen, we have successfully expanded the tourist offer between Tropical Islands and the Berlin city limits with the guided tours.
The Flughafen-erfahren tours are actively promoted through the tourism network and some tours are also guided by Dahme-Seen Tourism tour guides.

Flughafen-erfahren also means understanding aviation! We want to make teenagers and young adults aware of what has happened in their region since the end of 2020 (opening of BER) and what changes the airport has brought so far. Together, we will categorize what has happened and talk about opportunities and challenges. The youth of today will shape the aviation of tomorrow! No matter how the airport develops – we want equal opportunities! When it comes to aviation, the next generation should at least be on an equal footing with other airport regions and help shape development and research.

*Since June 2023, the funding has ended. We will inform you as soon as there is news about this funding.
